WhatsApp won’t work on these smartphones from 2020
WhatsApp has released a list of the operating systems that will not be supported by WhatsApp starting 2020.

According to the company’s statement, WhatsApp will not run on smartphones running on Windows OS after December 31. At the same time, from February 1, WhatsApp 2020, WhatsApp will not work on smartphones with Android version 2.3.7 and iPhone with iOS 7.
The list of all the operating systems that will not support WhatsApp from 2020
- Android versions 2.3.7 (Gingerbread) and older Android versions
- iOS 8 and older
- All Windows OS phones from 31 December 2019
WhatsApp also listed the operating systems that the app supports and recommends users to use the following updated devices:
- Android running OS 4.0.3+
- iPhone running iOS 9+
- Select phones running KaiOS 2.5.1+, including JioPhone and JioPhone 2
More users will not be affected
The company has said that its decision will not affect many users, because most users have a new phone. The company has said in a statement that Android Kitkat, ie version 4.0.3 or above, will be supported by WhatsApp, but smartphone users below that version will not be able to use WhatsApp.
WhatsApp will not run in Windows Phone after December 31
If you still use WhatsApp in Windows Phone then there is bad news for you. The company has announced that by the end of this year, all Windows Phone support will stop supporting WhatsApp.
According to official information, this messenger will not work in any Windows Phone after 31 December 2019. Before that, the company has stopped support in Nokia Symbian S60 after 30 June 2017, BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 after 31 December 2017, Nokia S40 after 31 December 2018.
WhatsApp will not work in iPhone 8 iOS
It has been said in the official statement that it will no longer work even on those Apple iPhones which have iOS 8. Although Apple has said that all their phones are running iOS12. Only 7 percent of the users in the whole world has the old version.
